Creating an Account and Support
To use our software, you first need an account. Your employer, a colleague, or a Dialog employee can create an account name for you, and you create a password yourself. Within this account, you can also request software support. We process the following data for the account request and support:

This data from the analyses on the platform and the newsletter is processed based on your consent. We keep this data for a maximum of 1 year after our service to you has ended.
Analyses on the Newsletter
We use cookies to track whether you open our newsletter. At the bottom of this privacy statement, you can find which cookies we use for this purpose. We do this for marketing purposes and to optimize our newsletter. For these analyses, we process:

Applying for a Job at Dialog
You can apply for a job with us. We process the following personal data when you apply with us:

Data from the motivation letter
The above data are necessary so we can contact you about your application and assess whether you are suitable or could be suitable for the position. We use this data in preparation for potentially concluding an employment contract.
We keep your data for a maximum of four (4) weeks if it turns out you did not get the job. We may ask you to keep the data longer because we might have a suitable position for you in the future. We then ask for your permission to keep the data for another one (1) year for our vacancy alert. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. When you enter into employment with us, we keep your application data in the personnel file.
Part of the procedure may include a social media and Google search. This is necessary to ensure that our image remains intact when hiring new staff. We do this based on our legitimate interest. We search for your name on Google and your potential profiles on various social media, provided that these profiles are public. If we conduct such an investigation, the results will be discussed with you. If you object to this investigation, you can indicate this by email when you apply.
Disclosure to Other Companies or Institutions
We only share your personal data with third parties when this is permitted under current legislation. It may happen that we provide your personal data to third parties because we have engaged them to process certain data, for example, if:
